Our Glee Project Final Group!

Hey guys! I just finished finalizing the group for Our Glee Project, and I’m so proud of all the girls that auditioned and made it. We have a really solid group of 12 girls that all are amazing singers. Unfortunatley, I don’t have all of their twitter usernames, so I can’t post the list here, but I am going to send out an e-mail to all of them right now! So check your emails in about 5-10 minutes!

I am so excited for where this project is going to go and all that we will be able to accomplish. Talk to you all soon!

SINGERS &amp; GLEE FANS WANTED this is my idea; it is crazy, weird, and will take some work, but i think it could be a lot of fun!: this is basically what I would call a virtual glee club. we can video chat, tweet, things like that to stay in touch. the final group will be about 12-20 people in total. I was thinking we could come up with a name for our group once the participants are decided. everyone will send in an audition tape of them singing one of the following songs: -Don’t Rain on My Parade -Somewhere Only We Know -Teenage Dream -Jessie’s Girlr We have had requests to sing multiple songs, and the answer is yes, you may. We would actually love it if you could, because we will be able to see your vocals on different types of music. Also, people have asked if they can play piano/guitar while they sing. YES, YES, a THOUSAND TIMES YES. We would love to see your musical talents outside of singing! Take a video of you singing the song a capella. Make sure to introduce yourself and tell a little about your musical background somewhere in the video. Pick a song that showcases your talents, but don’t try too hard. Stay somewhat in your comfort zone. If you need to play the track quietly in the background, you may, but the point is that we hear your voice. E-mail the video to ourgleeproject@yahoo.com. If you have any problems sending it, tweet me (@DarrenArmy or @OurGleeProject). THE DEADLINE IS AUGUST 10! This will be a time-consuming project, but it will be well worth it. There will be deadlines if you make it for when your parts of the songs will need to be sent in and we will expect that you complete it to the best of your ability. If a deadline is not met without a legitimate explaination, you could be removed from the group. Basically, if you make the final group, everyone will be given a part to play. For example, one girl will be chosen to sing Rachel’s leads, a boy to sing for Finn, etc. You do NOT need to be a fan of glee to participate. The purpose of this is just to distribute parts like they do on the show. So let’s say you get Rachel’s part, you will record yourself singing that part, and then I will mash your recording with the other participant’s as well as the background track, and VOILA, we have a cover of a song. Once we have quite a few covers done, I was considering sending it as a CD to the cast so they could hear. Thank you guys so much for your support and participation. This could be really fun and successful if we have enough participants! That’s up to whether or not we can get the word out about it.
